Best Instant Messaging Software (& Tweaks) for OS X

I’m a fan of Adium, because it’s free/opensource and incorporates ICQ, Jabber, AIM, MSN, and Yahoo! IM. The highly/easily customizable interface is its biggest draw, for me.
For IRC, there’s no beating Colloquy, an opensource IRC/SILC/ICB client that supports plugins and looks great.

About FLYING SKULL!

FLYING SKULL! is a sort of online whiteboard for Alana Post, a user interface designer and avid cat owner living in Portland, ME, US.

It is composed of information relating to her specific interests in the realms of the internet, technology, web development, and design; which take the forms of images, notes, and conversations.

Please get in touch if you're working on something that you think might be of interest. FLYING SKULL! would be happy to publicly think about it.
